Gary Centeno Crowned Winner of “Teh Island: Extreme Challenge” season Two
gary Centeno emerged victorious in the second season of “The Island: Extreme Challenge,” securing the $200,000 grand prize. The finale, which aired recently, saw Centeno triumph over fellow finalists Martin Salvador, Jason Romo, and Estefanía Ahumada after a grueling competition testing both physical and mental fortitude.
The reality show, which premiered last October, stranded 18 participants on an island where they battled through demanding challenges, experiencing conditions ranging from luxury to extreme hardship, all while vying for shelter.
Centeno celebrated his win, exclaiming, “Luna, dad did it!”
While Centeno took home the top prize, the other finalists also received ample awards: Martin Salvador earned $40,000 for second place; Jason Romo, $25,000 for third; and Estefanía Ahumada, $15,000 for fourth. Unlike the first season, where Adrian Di Montes won, all four finalists of this edition received monetary prizes.
Mexican presenter Hector Suarez Gomis praised Centeno, stating, “Gary, you get the glory and honor of being the best in this competition.” The contestants were visited by their families before the final challenge, receiving encouragement for one last push.
