The proposed system comes straight from Unbox, the company of former N-VA marketing guru Erik Saelens, of which MEP Johan Van Overtveldt (N-VA) has been a co-director for several months. The company’s annual accounts also demonstrate creative accounting. Demir denies that any pressure was exerted. Van Overtveldt says he is not involved in Unbox’s Belgian activities.
