caguas, Puerto Rico – Fans of Puerto Rican television history will have a chance to relive beloved characters as “el gran Bejuco, el reencuentro” comes to the Caguas Fine arts Center on Saturday, December 6 at 8:30 p.m. The production marks the first time the original cast of the iconic 1990s program will reunite on stage.
“El gran Bejuco, el reencuentro” promises to blend nostalgia with contemporary themes as Bejuco and Cholón navigate modern life, including social media and generational shifts. The production,by Moraleja LLC,features Miguel Morales,Wilfred Morales,Manolo Castro,Sara Pastor,Samantha Jareño,William Rodríguez,Wanda Colón,Herbert Cruz,Ivonne Arriaga,Bianca Morales,and Mario Morales.
According to a press release, the theatrical comedy will explore questions fans have long pondered: Where have Bejuco and Cholón been all these years? What became of Bejuco’s car? And did Laurita ultimately marry Roberto Saavedra Tercero?
The show is described as “an adventure where nostalgia is mixed with modern and crazy situations,” with the beloved characters now facing “the challenges of today’s life…live and without commercial breaks.”
