Verstappen Claims Victory at teh 2025 Italian Grand Prix
Max Verstappen secured his second Italian Grand Prix win today, continuing a trend of victories from non-pole positions at the Monza circuit. This marks the fifth time a winner has started from a position other than pole in the last five Italian Grand Prix races; Charles Leclerc was the last to win from pole position in 2019. Verstappen began the race from the fourth starting position.
The 2025 Italian Grand Prix, held today, represents the completion of two-thirds of the Formula 1 season. Verstappen’s win adds to his championship tally as the season progresses. The race saw two pre-race changes to the starting grid,with Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly both starting from the pit lane due to the deployment of new Power Unit (PU) components.

during the race, Aston Martin drivers Martin Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll were informed they would be investigated post-race for potential rule violations during the training start at the pit exit.
Race conditions included an air temperature of 26°C and a track temperature of 44°C.Daniel Ricciardo recently announced a new career path, becoming an ambassador for Ford.
