The Block 2026: Adam and Jolene Win Outdoor Terrace and Pool Week

October 11, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Adam and Jolene won Outdoor Terrace and Pool Week on The Block 2026 by three-quarters of a point, securing victory in the episode after deploying a secret bonus-point gnome, nine.com.au reported. The win pushed their total score to 29, edging out rivals Courtney and Sev, who finished just behind on 28.25.

Mount Eliza Teams Struggle with Outdoor Workload

Building an outdoor terrace and pool area proved to be a chaotic endeavor for all five competing teams on the Mount Eliza site. Super-landscaper Troy Lovett admitted the schedule was overwhelming, telling Real Estate that the volume of required work was out of control. Houses 4 and 5 faced an especially grueling test because their outdoor footprints were nearly double the size of the uptown properties. Sev voiced frustration over the workload, pointing out to Real Estate that she and Courtney had to present double the amount of decking compared to other teams.

Judges Score the Resort-Style Spaces

The judges walked through completed and partially finished zones to evaluate resort-style additions, outdoor kitchens, and landscaping choices across the properties. Marty Fox added that the outdoor entertainment space exceeded local market value data for Mount Eliza buyers. House 2 contestants Chantel and Wyatt drew criticism from Shaynna over a stingy padded bench seat and rolled-up towels on day beds. Rick and Tayla invested $30,472 into an outdoor kitchen featuring a stone benchtop, a massive TV viewable from the pool, and an olive tree planted directly through the deck, as reported by Real Estate. However, the pair left their rooms unfinished, following a recurring season tradition while Tayla spent time filming for the cameras. Lisa and Rosco distinguished their build in House 3 by installing a dark pool and opting for a nature-focused color palette instead of blinding white finishes.

Secret Gnomes and Final Scores

Courtney and Sev appeared poised to take the weekly victory before Adam and Jolene played their secret bonus-point necklace awarded the previous week. Backed by a 9.75 score from Marty Fox, Adam and Jolene clinched the top spot. Jolene offered a blunt assessment of the outcome to Real Estate, stating that the rival contestants were salty about the result. The final leaderboard placed Adam and Jolene first with 29 points, followed by Courtney and Sev with 28.25, Chantel and Wyatt with 25, Lisa and Rosco with 22, and Rick and Tayla trailing at 21.5. Production moves next to Backyard and Garage Week.
