Thai Animation “ongkharak Phitak Jeab” Advances in Oscar Consideration
“Out of the Nest, Ongkharak Phitak Jeab,” produced by T&B Media Global (Thailand), is among 35 animated features eligible for the best Animated Feature Film award at the 98th Academy Awards.This marks a historic moment for the Thai animation industry, recognizing the film’s quality in creative content, original music, adn character design.
The film met a key eligibility requirement wiht its official U.S. theatrical release on July 18. The National Federation of Film Associations has confirmed its eligibility, and is now encouraging Thai audiences to support the film as it vies for a spot among the 15 shortlisted films to be announced on December 16, 2025.
