In a press release, the company reiterated its commitment to working closely with law enforcement agencies around the world.
To date, Tether has frozen a total of $835 million in assets at the request of 31 agencies from 19 jurisdictions.
The USDT issuer emphasized that joint efforts with law enforcement agencies demonstrate the industry’s ability to effectively combat the use of digital assets for illicit purposes.

According to media reports, since December 2021, Israeli authorities have blocked 189 accounts on the Binance exchange allegedly belonging to the ISIS and Hamas groups.
