Teresa ValeroS “Contrapaso” Enters Dupuis‘ Black Aire Collection with Reissue of Volume One
Le Mans, France – September 12, 2025 – Dupuis editions is bolstering its Black Aire collection with a reissue of Teresa Valero‘s critically acclaimed graphic novel, “Contrapaso T1: the children of others,” coinciding with the release of the highly anticipated second volume, “T2 contrapreso: for adults with reserves.” The move highlights the growing recognition of Valero’s work, praised for its dynamic, sensual, and bewitching storytelling.
the Black aire reissue arrives alongside a limited second volume, with only 700 copies available exclusively at the bulle bookstore in Le Mans. This edition features an unpublished eight-page addition and a numbered, signed frontispiece. Dupuis has also produced a head print of 1,111 numbered copies with a unique jacket and an original signed drawing by Valero. Publisher and translator Doug Headline brought his attentive gaze to this work.
