USTA Florida and Jack and Jill of America Team Up too Support Gainesville Youth Through Tennis
GAINESVILLE, FL - November 21, 2023 – USTA Florida and the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Gainesville chapter recently joined forces for a community outreach event, donating socks to ACES in Motion, a local National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) chapter. The initiative underscored a shared dedication to empowering youth through tennis, education, and character advancement.
The collaboration represents a growing commitment from USTA Florida to expand access to tennis and increase representation within Black communities across the state. ACES in Motion provides positive opportunities for young people, and the donation of socks – a practical need – directly supports their ability to participate fully in programme activities. This partnership highlights the power of community support in building stronger futures for children.
The Jack and Jill chapter’s donation to ACES in Motion, a Gainesville-based NJTL chapter, was a thoughtful gesture connecting two youth-serving organizations with a common vision. Both USTA Florida and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. aim to help children build stronger futures through positive opportunities.
USTA Florida is actively exploring future partnerships with the Jack and Jill chapter through its AMPLIFY Initiative, designed to expand tennis access and representation among Black communities throughout Florida. This initiative is central to USTA Florida’s broader mission of making tennis available for all, fostering fun, friendship, and lifelong skills both on and off the court.
