Teen Hospitalized After Being Struck by Vehicle in Etobicoke

A 15-year-old boy was transported to a hospital Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke.

Toronto police reported that the collision occurred shortly after 8 p.m. In the vicinity of Kipling Avenue and Hayhurst Road, south of Dixon Road.

Toronto paramedics informed CTV News that the teenager sustained injuries that are categorized as non-life-threatening.

Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the incident. The circumstances leading to the collision are currently under investigation.
