The “Future Opportunities: 50 Global Opportunities” report issued by the Dubai Future Foundation confirmed that the promotion of mental health has become one of the most important future directions in light of the growing psychological and social pressures, which directly affect the quality of the life of individuals, and their ability to work and production.

The report pointed out that mental health disorders represent a widespread global challenge, as millions of different ages suffer from the problems of anxiety, tension and depression, and estimates indicated that the rates of mental disorders among individuals between 15 and 19 years range between 10 % and 20 %, while they rise significantly among people over the age of 29 years.

The World Health Organization data indicated that more than 20 % of employees around the world feel lonely daily, as a result of many factors, most notably the imbalance between professional and personal life, and indulgence in the world of social media and isolation.

Studies have stated that depression is the main reason behind the decline in the quality of life, and that approximately 29 % of individuals who suffer from mental disorders are difficult to seek medical help, and research analyzes also revealed that the risks of mental health do not decline with age, but that the percentage may reach 50 % for individuals over the age of 75 years.

It was estimated that the number of people with mental disorders such as depression and anxiety may exceed 60 million people by 2030, and that the number increases to 1.4 billion people by 2050, which confirms the need for comprehensive preventive strategies.

The report pointed out that the merging of visual and auditory stimuli in the details of daily life provides special experiences for each individual according to his needs, allowing him to control the feeling of tension when needed, as it provides overwhelming technologies and the wearable devices that are unique experiences to calm the nerves designed specifically to meet the needs of each individual, which are solutions that do not require any surgical intervention, and are considered a supplement to traditional treatments, as waves are used The brain, which is captured through the brain and computer facades or electrical planning headphones, where treatments can be activated to calm the nervous system quickly, by urging the body to move from severe tension to a state of calm and internal peace.

The promotion of mental health contributes to providing psychological support to the various groups of society, and helping individuals reduce the feeling of tension quickly and effectively and increase their efficiency, while the report warned that excessive dependence on technical solutions may lead to ignoring the basic causes of pressure and anxiety, as it may lead to unknown effects in the long term in the brain.
