Team N Wins ‘Japanese Record Award’ – Global K-Pop Success

&TEAM Celebrates First Japanese ⁤Record Award Win, Solidifying Global rise

TOKYO – &TEAM has been⁢ awarded the ‘Special International Music Award’ at the 67th annual⁢ Japan‍ Record Awards, marking the⁤ group’s first win at the prestigious‍ Japanese music ceremony. The awards were announced on November 21st.

The ‘Special International Music Award’ ⁢recognizes artists demonstrating significant global activity‍ throughout the year,⁣ irrespective of regional focus. &TEAM’s performances across‌ Korea, japan, adn other international markets were cited⁢ as key ⁣to their selection.

Comprised of nine members – uiju, Fuma, Kei, ​Nicholas, Yuma, Joe, Harua, Taki, and Maki – ⁣the‌ group ⁢expressed their ⁣gratitude thru their agency, YX Labels. ⁢”We are truly honored to receive our first award at the ‍’Japan Record Awards’,” they stated. “We would like to thank‌ the fans who supported ‌us ‍and everyone who​ shared the ⁤award. We will ⁣work hard ​to grow into a national artist‌ loved in Japan and⁤ show a​ proud appearance ​on the world ⁢stage.”

&TEAM’s success in Japan began with​ their third single,’Go in Blind,’ achieving million-seller status in April. ⁢This was followed by a successful 10-city Asian tour, ⁢drawing approximately 160,000 attendees.Expanding their reach, the group released their first Korean mini-album, ‘Back to Life,’ selling 1.13 million copies on its first ​day – a first ‌for a Japanese artist achieving million-seller status in⁣ both Korea and Japan.

The group’s global listenership ‌has also seen‍ substantial‌ growth.⁢ Spotify‍ streams of ‘Back to Life’ increased approximately 2.4 times compared to ‘Go⁤ in Blind’ (as of November 7), while Apple Music⁤ streams rose 3.8 times (as of October 29). forbes magazine recently highlighted &TEAM as “the most notable group ⁤right ⁣now.”

&TEAM will ⁣continue⁣ their momentum with appearances at ‘Music⁣ Bank Global Festival in Japan’ on December 14th, SBS’ ‘2025 gayo Daejeon ‌with ⁣Bithumb’ ​on ​December 25th, and NHK’s ⁣’Red and ​White Song Battle’ on‌ December‌ 31st.
