Taylor university Music Faculty Showcase to Highlight Professor Talent This Weekend
Upland, IN – September 26, 2024 – The Taylor University Music Department will present its annual Faculty Showcase this sunday, September 28th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Butz-Carruth Recital Hall. The concert promises a dynamic evening of performances by both full-time and adjunct faculty, demonstrating the breadth and depth of musical expertise within the department.
This year’s showcase will feature a diverse program encompassing vocal and instrumental pieces, spanning genres from sacred music and opera to classical and perhaps musical theater. assistant Professor of Music, Mary Kathryn Brewer, explained the concert’s core purpose: “The concert is an opportunity to highlight our faculty…consisting of solos or small ensembles of the faculty performing.”
