Takeda Pharmaceuticals Appoints Manager to Lead Content Localization for Japan
TOKYO, JAPAN – Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited has announced the appointment of a Manager, Content Localization, Global Corporate Brand & Content, for its Japan operations. The role is critical to ensuring accurate and impactful communication of Takeda’s key messages across the Japanese market, encompassing healthcare, advanced technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
This position demands a highly skilled communicator fluent in both English and Japanese, capable of translating complex topics with nuance and precision. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing communications strategies aligned with global corporate affairs priorities, managing projects and vendors, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A global mindset and demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure are essential, alongside a commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative teamwork – including participation in calls with U.S.-based colleagues.
The role requires a strong understanding of Japanese promotional codes and will contribute to Takeda’s overall brand reputation within Japan. The position offers a full-time, regular employment contract and is based in Tokyo, with potential locations also including Osaka, Yamaguchi, Kanagawa, and Narita.
Takeda’s comprehensive benefits package for this role includes allowances for commuting, housing, and overtime work, annual salary increases, and bonus payments twice per year. Standard working hours vary by location, ranging from 9:00-17:30 to 8:00-16:45.
