Take That to Play Aviva Stadium in Dublin as Part of 2026 Tour
Take That have announced they will play dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Saturday, july 4th, 2026, as part of a wider tour beginning in Southampton on May 29th, 2026.Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, May 17th, and are expected to sell quickly.
The declaration follows a week of teaser videos posted on the band’s social media channels. The tour will see the group – currently comprised of Gary Barlow,Mark Owen,and howard Donald – performing across the UK and Ireland. Pop-rock band The Script and American singer-songwriter Belinda Carlisle will support the band on UK dates, with support acts for the Dublin concert yet to be confirmed.
Take That originally formed in 1989 with Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Jason orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, achieving significant success with three chart-topping albums before disbanding in 1996 following Williams’ departure. The remaining members reunited in 2005, releasing three number one albums in four years, and were briefly rejoined by williams in 2011 for the album Progress. Both Williams and Orange later left the group.
The upcoming tour is expected to coincide with the release of a new three-part documentary about the band on Netflix. Take That have a long-standing and dedicated Irish fanbase, with fans previously queuing for up to seven hours outside Dublin’s 3Arena in 2019 to secure prime positions for a concert.
