TAGRIGHT’s Daiki Maeda Diagnosed with Herniated Disc, Pauses Activities
Tokyo – TAGRIGHT member Daiki Maeda will suspend all activities beginning March 25th after being diagnosed with a lumbar disc herniation, the Japanese boy band announced Tuesday.
The group shared the news via their official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that Maeda had sought medical attention due to persistent lower back pain. Doctors diagnosed him with the herniation and advised rest and recovery.
As a result of the diagnosis, Maeda will be absent from scheduled appearances on TBS Television’s “Ravit!” on Wednesday, March 27th, and from “VS. Tōkyō Bōysu” (VS. Ultra-Express) on March 31st, according to the announcement.
“We apologize to all fans who were looking forward to it, as well as to everyone involved,” the group stated. “We appreciate your understanding.”
A senior editor in the publishing industry, according to job descriptions, oversees the editorial process and ensures content quality, requiring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the publishing landscape. While not directly related to the band’s announcement, the role highlights the importance of managing schedules and ensuring quality, factors likely being considered by TAGRIGHT’s management team as they navigate Maeda’s absence.
