written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

Rhea Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42, following her victory in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Ripley secured her title opportunity by pinning Tiffany Stratton in the Elimination Chamber, also overcoming Raquel Rodriguez, Kiana James, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss during the match. The final two competitors were Ripley and Stratton, with Ripley ultimately prevailing after landing a Riptide, according to reports from Newsweek and Cageside Seats.

The reigning WWE Women’s Champion, Jade Cargill, was present at the event, observing the Elimination Chamber match from a suite, as reported by Newsweek. Cargill has held the title for over 100 days, with one successful defense against Jordynne Grace. The upcoming match against Ripley will be her most significant challenge as champion to date.

The Elimination Chamber match saw a series of eliminations. Bliss was the first to be eliminated by James after Asuka hit her with mist. James was then eliminated alongside Asuka by Rodriguez, who subsequently fell to Stratton following a Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Ripley then defeated Stratton with a Riptide to claim the victory.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to grab place over two nights, Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be streamed internationally on Netflix.

In addition to the Women’s Championship match, WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will defend her title against Liv Morgan of The Judgment Day. Brock Lesnar is also scheduled to appear, issuing an open challenge. The Undisputed WWE Championship picture will be determined in the coming weeks, with either Drew McIntyre or Cody Rhodes defending against Randy Orton. CM Punk is set to battle Roman Reigns in a match that has been anticipated for years.

TNA IMPACT! Results – February 26th, 2026: Nemeths, Luna & Stone Win!

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor February 28, 2026
written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

The Nemeths scored a surprising victory over TNA World Champion Mike Santana and X-Division Champion Leon Slater at Thursday Night iMPACT in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 26, 2026. Nic Nemeth pinned Slater after reversing a 450 splash into a rollup, capitalizing on a distraction caused by Eric Young.

The match, which opened the show, saw Slater and Nic Nemeth begin with a technical exchange, according to commentary from Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt. Santana and Slater controlled the early portion of the bout, utilizing tandem offense both inside and outside the ring. However, the momentum shifted as the Nemeths isolated Santana, employing quick tags and double-team maneuvers. Santana briefly regained control with a Rolling Buck 50, but the Nemeths countered with a Back Suplex Neckbreaker combination. The finish came after Young’s interference allowed Nic Nemeth to secure the win.

Elsewhere on the card, Dani Luna defeated Léi Yǐng Lee in a match marred by the use of a chain. Luna secured the victory with the Luna Landing after wrapping the chain around the top turnbuckle and throwing Lee into it. Prior to the finish, Lee had attempted a pump kick and a superkick, but Luna countered with power moves, including a Blue Thunder Bomb.

A disqualification occurred in the match between Mance Warner and AJ Francis when Warner attacked Francis with a steel chair after Francis produced one himself.

A heated confrontation unfolded between Mickie James and Ash by Elegance. James challenged Ash, leading to a brawl that spilled to the entrance area, where Ash delivered a MickDT to James. The Elegance Brand was also seen backstage with James’ son during the altercation.

Jada Stone upset Tasha Steelz in a singles match. Stone avoided a cutter attempt from Steelz and rolled her up for the pinfall. Following the match, Steelz and Order 4 attacked Stone.

Steve Maclin addressed the audience, explaining his recent actions towards Mike Santana as stemming from a perceived lack of accountability and selfishness within TNA. Maclin recounted feeling betrayed by Santana after volunteering for military service and claimed Santana had thanked him for his selflessness. The segment escalated when Maclin physically confronted Hannifan, punching him in the stomach, and then shoved Rehwoldt. Santana then ran to the ring, prompting Maclin to leave.

In the night’s main event, The System – Bear Bronson, Brian Myers, Cedric Alexander, and Eddie Edwards – defeated The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and The Righteous (Dutch and Vincent). The match featured back-and-forth action and multiple tags, with The System ultimately securing the win by pinfall. Following the match, The System continued their attack on The Hardys and The Righteous, before being confronted by Moose and Alisha Edwards.

The Vanity Project Crowned New NXT Tag Team Champions | WWE Results 2026

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor February 25, 2026
written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

The Vanity Project are the latest NXT Tag Team Champions after defeating DarkState at Tuesday night’s NXT event on The CW, a result secured with crucial interference from Tony D’Angelo.

The match saw Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of The Vanity Project challenge Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars of DarkState for the titles. The contest was marked by back-and-forth action, with both teams exchanging offensive maneuvers. According to reports from Wrestling News Source, the early stages of the match saw Smokes and Griffin trading blows, while Baylor and Griffin engaged in a physical exchange.

As the match progressed, the involvement of Jackson Drake, a member of The Vanity Project and the current WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion, began to influence the proceedings. Drake attempted to assist Baylor by placing his foot on the ropes during a pin attempt by Shugars, preventing a potential title retention for DarkState. This prompted a confrontation between Cutler James and Dion Lennox of DarkState and Drake, drawing the attention of the referee.

Capitalizing on the distraction, Tony D’Angelo unexpectedly entered the ring and delivered a chokeslam to Shugars on the ring apron. D’Angelo then rolled Shugars back into the ring and positioned Baylor for a pin, leading to The Vanity Project winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. This marks the first title win for Baylor and Smokes since joining “NXT” from “WWE Evolve,” as reported by Yahoo Sports.

DarkState had held the titles for 123 days, having previously defended them against Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater, and OTM in November and January respectively. The Vanity Project earned their title shot by defeating OTM, Hank and Tank, and Shawn Spears and Niko Vance last week.

Following the victory, D’Angelo stated his intention to continue targeting DarkState, vowing to dismantle their success. The outcome of the match leaves the future of DarkState’s dominance in question, as they have now lost their tag team titles.

Myles Borne Wins NXT North American Championship – Results & Highlights

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor February 25, 2026
written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

Myles Borne is the new NXT North American Champion, defeating Ethan Page in a hard-fought match on February 24, 2026, at NXT headquarters. The victory ended Page’s championship reign, according to reports from Fightful, PWTorch, POST Wrestling, and Slam Wrestling.

The match began with a lock-up, quickly escalating into a physical exchange. Borne targeted Page’s ankle, repeatedly stomping and slamming it, attempting to weaken his opponent. Page attempted to regain control, delivering punches and a neckbreaker, but his own ankle proved vulnerable. A commercial break interrupted the action as Page sent Borne into the announce desk.

Upon returning from the break, Page initially gained momentum with a dropkick and headlock, but Borne countered with punches and clotheslines. The contest featured several near falls, with both competitors showcasing their resilience. Page executed his signature Ego’s Edge maneuver multiple times, but Borne consistently kicked out of the pin attempts. The intensity escalated as both wrestlers traded blows, culminating in Page attempting a superplex from the top rope, which Borne narrowly survived.

The match took a chaotic turn when interference from the Vanity Project – Jackson Drake – threatened to cost Borne the championship. Drake attempted to assist Page, but was interrupted by the arrival of Hank and Tank, Shiloh Hill, Ricky Saints, and Joe Hendry, who engaged in a brawl with the Vanity Project. During the distraction, Page attempted another Ego’s Edge, but Borne countered, sending Page into the exposed top turnbuckle. Borne then capitalized with his finishing move, “Born Again,” securing the pinfall victory and the championship title.

The win marks a significant moment in Borne’s career, as he dethrones a long-standing champion in Page. The NXT North American Championship now changes hands, setting the stage for a new chapter in the division.

written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T Huffman made a surprise appearance at UFC Houston on February 21, 2026, at the Toyota Center, according to reports from multiple sources.

The wrestling legend was shown on the event’s broadcast, seated cageside, as TNT Sports shared footage on Facebook. A commentator acknowledged Booker T, stating, “Booker T, the WWE Hall of Famer, with us here inside the Toyota Center.” Booker T responded by smiling, waving to fans, and displaying his WWE Hall of Fame rings, indicating a comfortable presence within the mixed martial arts environment.

Booker T, born March 1, 1965, is a retired professional wrestler and currently serves as a color commentator for WWE’s NXT brand. He is widely considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, holding 35 championships across World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/E), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He is the most decorated wrestler in WCW history, with 21 titles, including a record six WCW World Television Championships and 11 WCW World Tag Team Championships.

The UFC Houston event also featured Strickland’s third-round victory over Anthony Hernandez in the main event, and Uroš Medić’s first-round knockout win against Geoff Neal.

This crossover appearance follows a trend of increased interaction between WWE and UFC, both now operating under the TKO banner. Previously, WWE star Styles had promoted UFC 320 at the T-Mobile Arena.

WWE SmackDown: New Matches – Giulia vs IYO SKY & Tonga vs Dragunov Confirmed

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor February 22, 2026
written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

A planned match between IYO SKY and Giulia for this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown has been replaced, with Rhea Ripley now set to face Giulia in a singles bout. The change was announced by WWE just hours before the show was scheduled to air on February 20, 2026.

The original contest between Giulia, the reigning Women’s United States Champion, and SKY was intended as a non-title match. Giulia’s recent challenge alongside Kiana James against SKY and Ripley for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships fueled anticipation for the showdown.

According to Cory Hays of BodySlam.net, the decision to postpone the IYO SKY versus Giulia match was strategic. WWE intends to save the bout for a later date, believing it has the potential to be a significant event and wanting to build more storyline weight before its occurrence. This decision was not related to any injury or travel issues affecting either competitor.

Also confirmed for Friday’s SmackDown is a match between Ilja Dragunov and Tama Tonga. Tonga enters the contest following a victory over Shinsuke Nakamura, while Dragunov recently defeated The Miz.

The updated lineup for the February 20th episode of SmackDown also includes Elimination Chamber qualifying matches featuring Carmelo Hayes versus Trick Williams versus Damian Priest, and Nia Jax versus Charlotte Flair versus Kiana James. Oba Femi is scheduled to compete against Kit Wilson.

WWE SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
