thailand’s Women’s Volleyball Team Climbs to 18th in World Rankings Following World Championship performance
BANGKOK, thailand – September 9, 2025 – The Thai national women’s volleyball team has risen to 18th in the latest world rankings released today by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). This advancement follows their performance at the 2025 World Women’s Volleyball Championship, where they reached the final 16 and finished in 13th place.
The rankings,updated September 9,2025,reflect the continued dominance of the italian national team,fresh off their victory at the World Championship. Italy holds the number one position with 484.15 points. Brazil and Türkiye follow in second and third place, respectively, with 428.00 and 368.09 points.
Thailand‘s 171.66 points place them as the third-highest ranked team in Asia, trailing onyl Japan (5th with 346.26 points) and China (6th with 337.02 points). The rankings provide a snapshot of the competitive landscape in women’s volleyball and highlight Thailand’s progress on the international stage.
