Abdel Ghaffar provided a number of tips for sinus patients in the fall, including washing the nose with saline solution or sprays to reduce secretions, getting rid of irritation and allergy causes, drinking a sufficient amount of water daily, placing warm compresses on the face to relieve pain, and avoiding nasal irritation causes such as drinking. He also called on citizens to obtain the coronavirus vaccine and booster doses to protect and reduce infection with the COVID coronavirus, as well as the necessity of receiving the influenza vaccine in the fall, as it reduces the risk of influenza infection, in addition to protecting against simple respiratory infections, such as the common cold, and stressed. On the importance of wearing masks, because they protect against colds and coronavirus infection. We must wear them in crowded places, while washing and sterilizing our hands frequently.

Abdel Ghaffar stressed the necessity of determining the time to go out in cold, rainy or stormy weather, paying attention to weather forecasts and following them, making sure to wear appropriate clothing, as well as choosing underwear that absorbs moisture from the skin, and being protective from wind and water, and constantly changing wet clothes.

Abdul Ghaffar said that you must be careful to eat healthy meals and drink water and fluids even before going out in cold weather, because this will help maintain a feeling of warmth, in addition to the importance of practicing physical movement, because this helps blood flow to the extremities and skin and maintain a feeling of warmth.

As for children, Abdul Ghaffar stressed the need to protect them from exposure to weather fluctuations, pay attention to their good nutrition and keep them warm by wearing appropriate clothes, and covering the child well during sleep, adding that if children are taken outside the home, parents must be careful to Infants and young children should wear appropriate clothing, making sure to keep them warm.
