The competition involves over 2,500 schools representing the 72 EFL clubs,with the Girls Cup final played before the Vertu Trophy Final and the Kids Cup final preceding the EFL Play-Off Finals. Notable alumni of the competition include professional players Jamal Musiala,Adam Wharton,Scott McTominay,and Ellie Roebuck.
