A member of the Media Center of the General Meteorological Authority added, in special statements to Youm7, that the country is witnessing continued rain in most of the governorates of the Republic as a result of the country being affected by a deepening depression, pointing out that the greatest impact of the depression is on the east of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Regarding the chances of rain in the coming hours and until the end of the day, she indicated that the chances of rain will continue on the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, decreasing in intensity as we move inland, reaching light in southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, the Gulf of Suez, and central Sinai.

It also pointed to moderate rains that may sometimes be heavy and reach the point of torrential rain in North Sinai Governorate.

The Meteorological Authority expects that tomorrow, Thursday, will witness pleasant weather during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt, with moderate temperatures in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt, and cold at night in most parts.

Tomorrow will also witness water mist in the morning on some agricultural and highway roads near bodies of water leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt, sometimes dense in areas of the canal cities and central Sinai.

Greater Cairo is 23 degrees and Minor is 15, Alexandria is 23 and Minor is 13, Matrouh is 22 degrees and Minor is 12, Great Sohag is 24 degrees and Minor is 11, Great Qena is 25 degrees and Minor is 12, and Aswan Great is 26 degrees and Minor is 12.

The Meteorological Authority expects that today, Tuesday, will witness a drop in temperatures, with moderate weather prevailing during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, with hot temperatures in northern Upper Egypt, hot in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, pleasant at the beginning of the night, and cold at the end in northern Upper Egypt. The country extends to northern Upper Egypt, and is gentle on southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
