Bahrainโ Poses Biggest Challenge for Thailand โฃin Futsal Asian championship โQualifier
NONTHABURI, Thailand – The Thai nationalโข futsal team facesโ aโฃ tough road to the 2026 Futsal asian Championship, with โhead coach Miguelโฃ Rodrigo identifying Bahrain asโข their most formidable opponent in the upcoming qualifier tournament, held September 20-24 at Nonthaburi โCentral stadium.
Thailand is grouped with Bahrain,South Korea,and Brunei in Group B of theโฃ competition. Rodrigo assessed each competitor, stating Bahrain’s playing style closely โresembles that of Kuwait,โ making them a particularly dangerous team.
“Bahrain, they play inโค a style similar to Kuwait. Considered that thisโ group is a team that we mustโ be veryโฃ careful. As it should be the โฃstrongest in the line,” Rodrigo said.โ “We have a coachโข of Brava โคElfa Gaugeo. But there are also limitations on players resources โคas โฃwellโฆ if meeting in the first game We may โฃhave to exert a lot. Probably not easyโ as he is strong.”
