No Truth to Murder and Clashes in Burj Al Rajneh Camp: Statement by Omar Ghadhban, Secretary of Fatah Southern Division

The Secretary of the Southern Division of the Fatah movement in Burj Al Rajneh Camp, Omar Ghadhban, revealed in a special statement to vdlnews that there is absolutely no truth to what some media outlets are promoting about a murder and armed clashes taking place in the camp between two families.

Al-Ghadhban said: “Any talk about the killing of a person from the Saqqa family by the Akar family in the camp is not true. Rather, what is true is that the shooting of the first occurred far from the camp in the Aramoun area, and the shooting was a joy from the Akar family who considered that they had taken With revenge, but no clashes ever took place, especially since the Al-Saqqa family left the camp a long time ago and never come back,” considering that those spreading the rumors aimed to terrorize the people in the camp and its surroundings.

In response to a question, he stressed that the situation in the camp is “like Lebanon,” that is, we cannot say that it is very good, but on the other hand, it is not out of control. Problems always occur, but we try with all our efforts and capabilities to intervene as quickly as possible to solve them, and we often succeed, thanks to God. .

He pointed out that “Burj al-Barajneh camp contains 40,000 Palestinian refugees and displaced Syrians, and overcrowding is increasing, and it is natural for problems to arise in the absence of a state and the limited capabilities of the Palestinian forces.”

He concluded: “Praise be to God, we often succeed in our endeavors thanks to those who help calm situations, and we always cooperate with our brothers in Hezbollah and the Amal Movement at various levels.”

The Immorality of Merchants and the Exploitation at Beirut International Airport

The immorality of merchants no longer has any limits at Beirut International Airport. The Nevada Company, owned by businessman Wissam Ashour, after seizing the airport and property and violating the terms and conditions book, Ashour began hitting prices not by two, but by five times and more, ignoring the laws, oversight, and everything else. The man who… Occupying the sea will not fall short of occupying Beirut Airport.

The price of a bottle of “Maccaw” juice in the entire market is 50 thousand liras, but Ashour, in order to return the $3 million he paid in order to take the investment by force, priced it at $2.5. As for a bottle of “Tropicana” juice, its real price anywhere is 33. A thousand Lebanese pounds, but Ashour, as he did with all his restaurants and stores, also priced it at $2.50, and here he multiplied it seven times. Is there anyone who will deter the theft of passengers at the airport?

Al-Halabi announced in an interview with “MTV” that “the academic year will begin on October 9, and I am keen on students not to leave public school,” stressing that “my concern is to make the academic year a success, so I took the reconciliatory initiative, and yes, I will cancel the decision to punish 3,000 teachers.”

Recognizing the Signs of a Heart Attack and the Importance of Immediate Action

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com September 14, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

People often don’t realize they’re having a heart attack, either because they don’t know the early signs, or because they don’t consider it serious enough to bother emergency services.

“Make no mistake, a heart attack is a medical emergency and requires an emergency call immediately,” says cardiologist Don Adamson.

What are the signs you should pay attention to:

-Pain in the middle of the chest or the left side of it.
-Pain spreads to the arms, especially the left arm, neck, jaw, back, or abdomen.
-You may also feel shortness of breath, lightheadedness, dizziness, sweating, and excessive coughing.
Women are also at risk

-In many cases, heart attacks are not viewed as a health problem that threatens women, given that the incidence rates are higher among men.
Postmenopausal women are at increased risk because they produce less heart-friendly estrogen.
Risk factors

-Lifestyle such as smoking, a high-fat diet, and being overweight can also increase the chances of having a heart attack.
-People with diabetes and high blood pressure are also more susceptible to infection.
Prevention factors

Healthy diets, routine blood pressure and cholesterol checks, and maintaining a healthy weight are among the preventive steps you can take.

Common Post-Meal Habits That Can Negatively Affect Your Digestion and Health

Common Post-Meal Habits That Can Negatively Affect Your Digestion and Health

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com September 12, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Some common post-meal habits can negatively impact your digestion, overall health and well-being, according to a report in the Times of India. For better health and to support the digestive process, you should avoid common mistakes after eating meals from time to time, and make deliberate choices to promote weight loss, as follows:

1. Immediately indulge in vigorous physical activity
Engaging in vigorous physical activity immediately after eating can disrupt the digestive process. This is because the body directs blood flow to the muscles, which a person uses during physical activities, and diverts it away from the digestive system. This can lead to stomach discomfort, cramping, and slow digestion.

To promote optimal digestion and avoid these problems, it is recommended to wait at least an hour after eating before engaging in intense physical activity. During this time, the body can focus on digesting the food that has been eaten, breaking it down efficiently, and absorbing essential nutrients.

2. Drink plenty of water
There is no doubt that keeping the body adequately hydrated is essential for overall health, but it is necessary to strike a balance when it comes to consuming water immediately after a meal. Drinking large amounts of water immediately after eating can have negative effects on digestion by diluting stomach acid, which plays a crucial role in digesting food.

Instead of drinking large amounts of water immediately after a meal, you can take a more mindful approach to hydration. Drinking water during meals can help stay hydrated without overwhelming the digestive system and allows the body to maintain an appropriate level of stomach acid concentration for effective digestion. Experts recommend waiting about 30 minutes after eating a meal before resuming your usual hydration routine.
3. Lie down
Lying down right after a meal can cause discomfort, heartburn, and acid reflux, which can disrupt digestion. To mitigate these risks and promote optimal digestion, it is recommended to maintain an upright position for an extended period after eating, preferably for at least two to three hours. By remaining upright, a person allows gravity to help move food through the digestive system more effectively. It also helps prevent stomach acid from flowing back into the esophagus, reducing the possibility of heartburn and acid reflux. Sitting in a reclined or partially upright position helps provide comfort while reducing the risk of digestive discomfort.

4. Caffeine intake
Caffeine, often found in common beverages such as coffee and tea, can affect the absorption of essential minerals and nutrients, especially iron and calcium. This interference with nutrient absorption is a noteworthy concern for those who regularly enjoy these caffeinated beverages. To address this issue and maximize nutrient absorption, it is a good idea to consider a judicious approach to caffeine consumption. A helpful strategy is to provide a buffer period of about 1 hour after a meal before consuming these beverages. This delay allows the body enough time to digest and absorb the nutrients from the meal without the potential interference caused by caffeine.
5. Ignoring dental hygiene
Neglecting proper oral hygiene practices after eating poses a major risk to dental health, which can lead to serious consequences for the teeth and gums. When a person leaves food particles stuck on their teeth and in the spaces between them, they create a suitable environment for tooth decay and gum disease to develop. To protect your oral health, it is recommended to take steps such as brushing and flossing your teeth. Brushing helps remove food debris and prevent plaque formation, while flossing ensures that no residue remains stuck between the teeth and along the gum line.
