The absence of the ring ignited online discussion, prompting a statement from a spokesperson addressing the matter.
The rumors come amid heightened scrutiny of the Vance family and follow a recent, widely-circulated moment of public embrace between the Vice president and Erica Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
