Rome, โItaly – Italy’s newest high-speed train, the Frecciarossa 1000, has officially debuted,โฃ offeringโข increased passenger comfort, advanced technology, and a โcommitment too sustainability. The train recently completed preview runs on the Rome-Naples route, allowing FS Group managers to test new onboard systems.
The Frecciarossa 1000 boasts a โคmaximum speed of 300 kilometers per hourโข (approved for 360โ km/h)โฃ and utilizes an advanced traction system for improvedโ efficiency and reliability. Interior upgrades prioritize passenger experience with ergonomic seating,โ more spacious layouts, and technological tools for both work and relaxation. Dedicated spaces are available for passengers โขrequiring โextra room or traveling with โlarge luggage.
Sustainability is aโข key focus of the newโข train, with a recyclability โขrate of 97.1% – a 2.7 percentage point โคincrease over previous models – andโ a material recovery rate of 98.2% (+2.4%). Advanced electrical engines โคcontribute to reduced energy consumption, positioning the Frecciarossa 1000 as a “green model” for high-speed rail.
Designed for international travel, theโค Frecciarossa 1000 is approved to operate โonโข seven European railway networks: France, Spain, โGermany, Austria, Switzerland, โNetherlands, and Belgium.
