Hayley Williams Announces Frist Solo Tour Datesโ followingโข Paramore‘s ‘This โIs Why’ Cycle
Hayley Williams is set to embark on her first-ever solo tour this March, bringing the intimate energy ofโ her Petals for Armor โ album to โstages across North America. The proclamation arrives as Paramore โconcludes it’s accomplished runโ supporting Taylor Swift’sโค Erasโ Tour โand promoting โขtheir latest album, This Is Why.
While initiallyโ planning a tour for Petals for Armor in 2020, Williams’ plans were derailed by the onset โof the COVID-19 pandemic, โleading to virtual โคperformances like her acclaimed NPR Tiny Desk Concert from Nashville. Now, she’s ready to โคconnect with fans on a more personal level, acknowledgingโฃ the vulnerability andโค excitement surrounding โa solo venture. “It’s not Paramore and โฃtruthfully, it’s โฃjust a little terrifying,” Williams โwroteโค previously.โข “Butโ if I know anything, it’s that there’s no safer place (besides at home with my dog) than to be in a room, on a stage, inโฃ front of the people who โขI’ve grown upโ singing my lungs out for. There was a time I thought โคI wouldn’t tour Petals for โArmor. Whatโข a joke. I must.”
the tour will kick โขoff โขMarch 28th at โคthe โTabernacleโ in โคAtlanta, GA, and will include stops in toronto, โฃBoston, Philadelphia, New York, โฃBaltimore, Minneapolis, โฃChicago, Nashville, Austin, โคPhoenix, Oakland, and Los Angeles. โTickets go on sale Friday, Februaryโ 9th atโ 10 AM local time.
