Production โขon marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been paused for oneโ week after Tom Holland suffered a mild concussion on โฃset in London Friday. Filming will resume September 29, according to sources. The incident occurred during a stunt gone wrong at Pinewood โขstudios, but no other castโค or crew members were injured.
The pause in production isโค not expected to impact the film’s scheduled theatrical release date of July 31, 2026.Holland was examined at a hospital but not admitted. This latest installment in the lucrative โ Spider-Man franchise, co-produced by โขSony and Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, continues a partnership that has generated $3.93 billion worldwide across threeโ films since 2017.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel cretton (Shang-Chi and โขthe Legend of the Ten Rings),โ with Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige producing.Zendaya will return as MJ, joined by new cast members Sadieโข Sink and Liza Colรณn-Zayas โin currently undisclosed roles.
