Armed Attack on Zahedan Justice Building Leaves 8 Dead

An armed attack on the state justice building in Zahedan,Iran,has resulted in the deaths of at least eight people. Thirteen individuals were injured in the assault on the State Justice Building of Sistan-Belucistan, according to authorities, who cautioned that the death toll might rise.
The incident occurred on Azadi Street in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-Belochistan province. Tasnim news agency reported that more than one armed assailant targeted the building in the morning. Eyewitnesses stated that the attackers proceeded directly to the judges’ rooms upon entering, and numerous judicial employees were reportedly injured.

Emergency aid teams and security forces responded to the scene. Judicial news site Mizan Online confirmed that five people were killed in the attack,with 13 others injured,labeling it a “terrorist attack.”
Iranian sources indicate that the separatist armed group Ceyล al-adal has claimed duty for the attack, referring to it as “Operation of Justice Weapons.” Fars News Agency reported that three attackers were killed by security forces. The situation is reportedly under the control of security forces, and an examination into the attack has been initiated.
