WHEELING,WV – In a thrilling conclusion to the 79th Rudy Mumley OVAC All-Star Football Game,West Virginia secured a dramatic 15-14 victory over Ohio. The winning points came via an 84-yard touchdown as time expired, followed by a successful two-point conversion.
Ohio had taken a 14-7 lead with just 17 seconds remaining, courtesy of a touchdown pass from Steubenville’s Aiden Davis to Monroe Central’s Chance Allen. However, West Virginia refused to concede.
With only three seconds left on the clock and facing their final play, West Virginia’s Lucas McAllister, a standout from Weir High, connected with his teammate Damir Mowder for an 84-yard touchdown. This improbable score brought the score to 14
