‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Star Mia Thornton Booked on Larceny Charge in Georgia
Former “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton was arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail in Georgia on a larceny charge, according to Fulton County Sheriff’s Office records. The arrest marks a new chapter for Thornton, who recently relocated to Atlanta after announcing her departure from the Bravo reality series.
Thornton, 39, and her ex-husband Gordon Thornton share two children, son Jeremiah, 10, and daughter Juliana, eight. She also has an older son,Joshua,from a previous relationship. Despite their separation in June 2023, Thornton has continued to use the handle @MrsMiaThornton on social media and publicly praised her amicable relationship with her former spouse.
In July, Thornton posted a collection of family photos on Instagram, writing, “Just an appreciation post to G. These past couple of weeks have been hard – Life Lifes and that’s life. but to have someone willing to jump in and say,I got YOU through it allโฆdeserves PRAISE. Truly Grateful.” She followed up in September with more photos, celebrating her ex-husband’s birthday and stating, “Happy Birthday to G – Grateful for the journey we share, raising our stunning family and doing life together in our own way. Wishing you love, joy, and everything you deserve today & always. Forever, MIAmor.”
Thornton announced her exit from “The Real Housewives of Potomac” and her move to Atlanta in April. Sharing professional photos, she captioned the post, “With every new season comes a new beginning and I have some news to share. My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Atlanta,and with that,I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Potomac next season.” She continued, “The past four seasons have been an unforgettable journey one filled with growth, lessons, and so many unbelievable memories. I want to thank Truly Original, Bravo, NBCUniversal, and Andy Cohen for believing in me and giving me the space to share my story.”
