‘Real Housewives of Potomac‘ Star Wendy Osefo adn Husband Arrested on โขFraud Charges
potomac, MD – “Real Housewivesโ of Potomac” star Wendy โOsefo and her husband, edward Osefo, were arrested Thursday and booked onโค 16 โcharges, including seven felonies, related to alleged insurance fraud, Maryland authorities confirmed to The โHollywood Reporter.
The Osefos are accused of filing false claims with their insurers following an April 2024 burglary at โtheir home, allegedly fabricating theft โฃof luxury items to inflate the value of the claim. The alleged fraud exceeds $300. This caseโ adds to a growing list of legal issues โคinvolving cast members across the Real Housewives franchise.
the couple โฃwas releasedโฃ Friday on a $50,000 bond. Wendy Osefo also faces a โmisdemeanor charge for allegedly making โขa false โstatement to a โฃpolice officer. Future court โคdates โฃhave not yet been announced.

Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey servedโ 11 months in jail for bank and bankruptcy fraud, while Jen Shah of The Real Housewives of โSalt Lake City is currently โฃserving aโข 6.5-year prison sentence after pleadingโ guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in July 2022 and is โscheduled for release in late 2026.
