NFL International Series Returns to Germany in Week 10 with Panthers–Giants Matchup

The NFL will bring a regular season game back to Germany in Week ‌10 of the 2024 season, as the Carolina⁢ Panthers are set to face the New York Giants in munich on November‍ 10, 2024. This marks the continuation of ‌the NFL’s commitment⁢ to ⁤expanding its global footprint and delivering live American football to international fans.

The NFL’s foray into international games began in‌ 2007 ⁣with a contest in London, and has since expanded to include annual games in Mexico City, Germany, and, beginning in 2024, São Paulo, Brazil. Germany has quickly become a key market for the league, ‍demonstrating a passionate and growing fanbase. The ⁤upcoming Panthers-Giants game ⁤builds on the success of the November 13, 2022, matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks, also held ‍in Munich, which drew a crowd of over 67,000.

The NFL’s international schedule for the coming years includes games in multiple locations. In ⁣2023, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated ‍the Miami Dolphins 21-14 in Frankfurt on November 5, and the Indianapolis Colts topped the New England Patriots 10-6 in Frankfurt ⁤on‍ november 12. Further games are planned for 2025, including a contest between‌ the Indianapolis Colts and the Atlanta Falcons in ‍Berlin on November 9, 2025, and a matchup between the Miami Dolphins and⁢ the Washington ⁣Commanders in Madrid on November 16, ‌2025.

Beyond Germany, the NFL has established a presence in other international markets.Mexico City has hosted ⁤games as 2016, with the moast recent ⁢contest taking place on November 21, 2022, featuring the ‌San Francisco⁢ 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. São ‌Paulo will host its first ‍NFL game on September 6, 2024, with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on‍ the Green‌ Bay Packers, and a second game is scheduled for September 5, 2025, between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Dublin is set to host a game on September 28, 2025, with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the Minnesota Vikings, and Melbourne, Australia, is scheduled to host a game on November 9, 2025.

NFL MVP odds: Drake Maye, Jonathan Taylor surge. Do they have legitimate cases?

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor October 28, 2025
written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

NFL MVP Race Heats Up: Maye and Taylor Challenge Established Frontrunners

The NFL’s ‍Most Valuable Player conversation is expanding beyond the usual suspects, with rookie⁣ quarterback Drake Maye and Indianapolis Colts ⁢running back Jonathan Taylor rapidly gaining traction. While Patrick Mahomes and‌ Josh ‍Allen remain at the top of the ⁢odds boards, ‌Maye and‍ Taylor’s recent performances have injected new life into the race.

Tom brady’s potential to climb the ranks hinges on upcoming primetime⁤ games against the Jets and Giants, with strong showings ‌expected⁣ to maintain his current trajectory.

Taylor’s surge is notably noteworthy. He ‌opened the ⁢season⁤ as a longshot at ‍+25000 (250-to-1), representing less⁣ then a‌ 0.5 percent chance of winning⁣ the award.⁢ however, a dominant performance against the Titans has thrust him ⁤into contention.

According to James Boyd, Indianapolis Colts reporter for The Athletic, “A running⁤ back hasn’t⁢ won ⁢the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award as Minnesota’s‍ Adrian⁣ Peterson in 2012. Could Jonathan Taylor end that 13-year drought? The Colts star has⁤ been on‍ a ⁢blistering tear this ⁢season, and his latest performances ⁢have thrust‌ him firmly into the⁣ MVP conversation – if not to the ‍very top. Taylor has scored at least three TDs in back-to-back games and has totaled a league-high 14 scrimmage touchdowns through‍ the first eight‍ games of the season. He is on pace to score 30 total ‍touchdowns (26 rushing and ⁤four receiving), which would make him just ⁣the second player in NFL history to score at least 30 scrimmage TDs in a single‍ season. Taylor would join former Chargers running back and⁤ Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson, who finished with ⁣31 TDs in 2006 en route to being ‍named … you guessed it,league MVP.”

Mahomes ⁣and Allen continue to lead⁢ the pack, with a‌ highly anticipated Week 9 matchup between the Chiefs and Bills -⁢ a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game⁤ -‍ poised to significantly⁢ impact the odds. The Chiefs benefit from a bye week ‍in Week 10 ⁢following the game.

Los Angeles Rams ⁣quarterback ⁤Matthew Stafford remains a consistent contender‌ at +1100 (11-to-1 ‌odds),currently leading the league with ⁤17 touchdown passes and ranking sixth in yards with 1,866.The Rams, coming off their bye week, face⁣ the Saints before entering a challenging divisional ⁤stretch against the⁣ 49ers and Seahawks.

Maye⁢ has slipped from third to fifth in the odds after ‌a quieter couple ⁢of ‌weeks, including a loss to the Lions where he completed 28 of 50⁣ passes for 228 yards, one touchdown, and⁢ one interception, and a win over⁣ the Saints with 15 completions‌ on 24⁢ attempts for 152 yards and ⁤no‍ touchdowns. Questions remain ⁢whether ‌this is a‌ temporary dip or a sign of a larger trend, particularly given⁣ injuries impacting his team.

Rounding out the contenders with odds under +2000 are New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (+1500) and Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan ‌Love (+1800), tied with⁤ Taylor. An argument can be made that ⁢Jones and Taylor’s shared position within the Giants offense‍ could potentially split votes,‌ even if the Colts continue to perform well.

Love recently showcased his potential in a prime-time game against his predecessor, Aaron Rodgers, completing 29 ⁢of‍ 37 passes⁤ for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Continued⁢ performances of this caliber are expected to further improve his MVP odds.

Sam Darnold, Seahawks hang on to beat Texans despite 4 turnovers

Seahawks Battle Past Texans Amidst ⁢Mariners Heartbreak in Seattle

Seattle, WA -‌ Lumen Field was a stadium of mixed emotions Monday night. While the Seattle Seahawks secured a hard-fought 27-19 victory over the Houston Texans ⁢in a ⁢”Monday Night Football” matchup, the⁢ win was tempered by the‍ gut-wrenching defeat of the Seattle Mariners just across the street.

the⁢ Mariners fell⁤ to the Toronto ‌Blue Jays ⁤4-3 in a dramatic Game 7 of the ⁣American‍ League Championship Series, dashing hopes for the ⁣franchise’s first-ever World ⁤Series appearance. Despite the ‌game being played ‍in Toronto, a large ⁣crowd gathered at T-Mobile Park to watch, only to ‌witness a heartbreaking end to their team’s playoff⁢ run.

Despite four turnovers of their own, the Seahawks ⁤(5-2)⁢ managed to maintain control against the Texans, led by quarterback C.J. stroud. Seattle surged to a ‍14-0 lead in ⁢the first quarter, fueled by a 1-yard touchdown run from Zach Charbonnet and⁢ an 11-yard touchdown reception by Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba’s‍ score was celebrated with ‍a goalpost jump that is highly likely to result⁢ in a fine for the team.

The ‌Seahawks’ momentum stalled somewhat after a risky trick play backfired before⁢ halftime, resulting in an interception. This turnover ⁢allowed ‌the Texans to put points on ⁤the board with two field goals. ⁤Houston continued to fight back ‌in the third quarter, with defensive end⁤ Will Anderson Jr. scoring a touchdown.

Ultimately, Seattle’s offence proved to⁤ strong, securing the win and ‍keeping⁤ them tied for the top spot in the competitive NFC West. while‌ the victory provides a boost‌ for the Seahawks, the city of seattle ‍will undoubtedly be feeling the sting of the mariners’ ALCS loss for⁤ some time to ⁣come.

Keywords: Seattle ‌Seahawks, Houston Texans, NFL, Seattle Mariners,⁤ Toronto blue Jays, MLB, ALCS,‌ Monday Night Football, C.J. Stroud, Zach⁢ Charbonnet, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Lumen Field, T-Mobile Park.

Title: Mike Evans’ Comeback Ends in Injury – Lions Dominate Buccaneers

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor October 21, 2025
written by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

Tampa Bay buccaneers wide ⁢receiver Mike Evans⁤ sustained a serious injury during Saturday’s NFC wild Card playoff game against the Detroit Lions, leaving the team and fans concerned about his status. The injury occurred in the first‍ half, impacting the Buccaneers’ offensive capabilities throughout the⁢ remainder of the contest.

The lions defeated the Buccaneers 31-23, advancing to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. While the game featured a strong performance from Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who rushed for 136 yards and two⁢ touchdowns, the focus quickly ⁢shifted to Evans’ well-being. The Buccaneers struggled to overcome ‍the loss of their star receiver, with quarterback Baker Mayfield completing only 28 of 50 pass attempts.

Early in the game, Jake Moody of the Buccaneers connected on a 53-yard field goal, giving Tampa ‍Bay ⁤an initial lead.⁢ However, Detroit’s defense tightened, intercepting a pass from Mayfield late ‌in the second quarter. Shortly before halftime,Gibbs broke free for a 78-yard touchdown run, capitalizing on a gap in the Buccaneers’ defense. ⁣

tampa Bay responded quickly after the break with a touchdown by Tez Johnson, but ‌the subsequent two-point conversion⁣ attempt failed, leaving the score‍ at 14-9 in favor of Detroit. Gibbs extended the Lions’ lead with ⁤his second touchdown of the game, and‍ kicker⁣ riley Bates added a 58-yard field goal, pushing the score ⁤to 28-9. Mayfield was unable to rally the Buccaneers, and Detroit secured the victory.

Evans,a key component of‌ the Buccaneers’ offense and a consistent threat to opposing defenses, has been a central figure in Tampa Bay’s success for years. His absence raises questions about the team’s ability⁤ to compete effectively in future games should his injury prove to be long-term. The severity of Evans’ injury is currently under evaluation, and further updates are expected in the coming days.
