Erie Residents Can access Free Winter Clothing This โขSaturday atโ St. Paul’s
ERIE, PA – As temperatures plummet,โค St. Paul’s Community Outreach Group will host its annual free winter clothing distribution event โthis Saturday, offering โa vital resource for Erie residents preparing โคfor the cold months ahead. The event, open to all, aimsโ to provide warm clothing to men, women, and children, with no requirements or questions asked.
Theโฃ distribution addresses a growing need for winter essentials inโค the Erie community, especially as local day shelters report a surge in demand due โขto theโ dropping โคtemperatures. St. Paul’s focuses specificallyโฃ on providing โฃwinter wear, recognizing the immediate need โฃfor coats,โค hats, โขand gloves as December begins.
“We really focus on โคthe winter โขclothing.Everything that is here should be pretty much winter clothing, as we realize on the frist Saturday of โDecember, that’s what folks โneed and that’s what they’re going to lineโ up โฃin the โcold to get,” explained Timโค Nowakowski,โ Community Outreach president.โ
Attendeesโ can also expect a โคfree hot lunch, including hot dogs, โคsloppyโค Joes, and pizza, โฃalongside coffee, water, and donated โขgranola bars.
St. Paul’s Center will โคbeโ open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday.
