Location and History
Set on a scenic knoll sandwiched between Freemark Abby and Duckhorn Winery, this contemporary take on grandma’s house sits a quarter-mile off Route 29, 10 minutes’ drive north of prestigious Meadowood.
Thanks to a stringent anti-signage ordinance, this place is hard to find. Built in 1975 in the traditional country-inn mold, the property was fashioned after a New England B&B with field-rock walls, flower gardens, old-fashioned lodging and unmistakable hospitality.
