Because on Sunday evening (April 14th) before the scheduled date, Dynamo Dresden doesn’t play at Freiburg II until 7:30 p.m. and has to cover the 680 kilometers that night. And just six days later, the home game against Viktoria Cologne is on Saturday.

If Dresden’s request for April 24th is fulfilled, there would be seven days between the league games in the following week and the away game in Regensburg, which is significantly closer at 340 kilometers.
