And the hosts confirmed this after the break! Werder were unable to score up front, and in the 63rd minute they scored a goal after a throw-in from Felix Agu (24).
The equalizer comes from an unnecessary own goal by Malatini (81st minute), who scores again with a header. The defender wants to pass the ball back to Kolke, but he is no longer in goal. Münster celebrates, Werder hang their heads.
And then the lightning-fast lead, three minutes later, thanks to a mistake by Kolke. The second division team deserved to turn the game around!

Coach Werner made it clear after the defeat: “We are trying to keep the rhythm with test matches and give minutes to the players who have played less. Of course, it is still an opportunity to show what they can do. Especially for those who are perhaps unhappy that they have played less. You just have to admit that they did not take advantage of the opportunity. That is why I am unhappy with the test.”
During the break, Werner made a lot of substitutions. Justin Njinmah, Marvin Ducksch, Marco Friedl, Anthony Jung and Mitchell Weiser were replaced by Abed Nankishi, Kein Sato, Niklas Stark, Felix Agu and Amos Pieper, who celebrated his fourth (!) comeback in two years after another injury break (thigh muscle).
