The revelation comes from a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, and sheds new light on the tumultuous period surrounding Spears’ personal life and highly publicized relationships.
Federline recounted being initially willing to call off the wedding, stating, “Okay, we don’t have to do this,” to Spears. He said she responded, “No,” despite his lack of enthusiasm for marriage. The conversation took a surprising turn when Federline learned Spears had spent time on the phone with Timberlake.
According to Federline, Spears explained the call by saying, “I just wanted to make sure that everything is done.
