Last Chance to Donate: Rebais Blood Drive Aims to Replenish Supplies Before holidays
Rebais, Seine-et-Marne – Residents of Rebais and surrounding communities have a final opportunity this Wednesday, November 26th, to donate blood and help ensure adequate supplies are available throughout the busy holiday season. The Association for Voluntary Blood Donation of Rebais (ADSB) is holding its last collection drive of 2025 at the Foyer rural de Rebais from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The need for blood donations is particularly acute as the year closes and families gather for celebrations, increasing the potential demand. This drive comes at a critical moment for the ADSB, which recently experienced a concerning first: its October collection failed to attract any new donors. “The end of the year is fast approaching,” says Claude Bernard, president of the ADSB, emphasizing the urgency. “We hope for a really large audience as, as always on the eve of New Year’s Eve and this period of holidays and family reunions, there is an urgent and additional need for blood.”
Bernard stresses the importance of community involvement, encouraging families to donate together and welcome new participants. “get involved, come with your family, bring new blood!” he urged. as a thank you, the ADSB will provide each donor with a 2026 diary containing dates for all upcoming collection drives.
Appointments are recommended and can be scheduled online at https://dondesang.efs.sante.fr/. The ADSB’s efforts are vital to maintaining a stable blood supply for patients in need across Seine-et-Marne and beyond.
