Benfica‘s Andreas Schjelderupโ Receives Suspended Prison Sentence in Denmark โคfor Sharing Explicit โคVideo
COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Norwegian international footballer andreas Schjelderup, currently playing for Benfica, was sentencedโค Wednesday by โa Copenhagen court to 14โฃ days in prison, suspended, after admitting to sharing anโ explicit video involving minors.
Theโ 21-year-old winger received a year of probationโ alongside the suspendedโข sentence, with Danish media reporting aโ potential warning of deportation from Denmark. Schjelderup appearedโ in โคcourt โขand acknowledged sharing a 27-second โvideo on Snapchat โคdeemed explicit and featuring minors, according to Danish press reports.
Judge โMathias Eike delivered โthe sentence stating, โ”You will receive โคa yellow card.”
