Maruyama Claims Victory at Summer Grand Prix โCompetition, Secures Overall Series Title
Zakopane, Poland – Nozomi Maruyama of Japan triumphed at the Ladies’ Summerโ Grand Prix competition in Zakopane,โ Poland, adding toโ her lead in the overall Summer Grand โPrix classification. โฃMaruyama’s consistent โฃperformance throughout both rounds securedโ herโข the win, finishing 17.4 points ahead of Nika Prevc in the final round.
This victory not only marks aโ triumphantโ competition for Maruyama but also confirms herโข as the overall champion of the 2025โค Ladies Summerโข Grand Prix series. Maruyama led after the first series with โคa jump โคof 141 meters, holding aโ 5.1-point advantage over Nika Prevc (136.5 m) and a 9.5-point โlead over Kurumi Ichinoheโ (133 m). โคYuki Ito (131 m), Abigail Strate (128.5 m), and Lisa Eder โข(128.5 m)โข also placed highly inโ the initial round. Representing Poland, anna Twardosz โขachieved 22nd place in the first series (116 m) and improved to 19th overall withโ a final jump of 106 meters.Nicole Konderla-Juroszek advanced โฃto the final round, finishing 26th in the first โฃseries โ(106 m) and 30th overall with a final jump of 90 meters.
Annika Sieff and Gyda Westvold Hansen were disqualified during the first series. Competition โcommenced from the 20th andโ 22nd startingโ beams, and the โfinal round utilized the 20th platform.
