Celebrity chef Katie Lee Biegel has launched a YouTube channel, featuring a new series titled “It’s Not Complicated,” nearly three months after the conclusion of her long-running Food Network program, The Kitchen.
Biegel announced the new venture on Instagram, sharing a video of herself preparing homemade pinto beans. “Yaaay! It’s Not Complicated is LIVE on YouTube,” she wrote. “After The Kitchen, I was not sure what would be next in my career, and I am so excited for this next chapter. I truly appreciate all of your support over the years and I hope you love this show!”
The Kitchen, which premiered in January 2014 and starred Biegel alongside Sunny Anderson, Geoffrey Zakarian, Jeff Mauro, and Alex Guarnaschelli, was cancelled by Food Network after 40 seasons and more than a decade on air. The final episode aired on December 13, 2025, according to reports. Biegel publicly expressed her sadness over the show’s cancellation, calling it “the greatest professional honor of my life” in an Instagram story post.
The cancellation prompted reactions from other Food Network personalities, including Ree Drummond and Bobby Flay, who both shared supportive messages on Instagram, according to Great Housekeeping. Drummond wrote, “Love you all and the amazing show you built together!!!” while Flay noted the show’s “iconic run.”
Beyond the new YouTube series, Biegel also hosts the “All on the Table” podcast, where she interviews individuals about food and other aspects of their lives. She is also a co-founder of Kind of Wild Wines.
Fans have responded enthusiastically to the news of Biegel’s YouTube channel, expressing excitement in the comments section of her Instagram post. “I’m so excited about your YouTube channel! I can’t wait to watch!” one follower wrote. Another commented, “I’m so happy to try all your recipes.”
