Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —

Excitement six can experience ups and downs whether male or female. Apparently there are a series of habits that unknowingly kill your sex drive.

When you want a lovemaking session, sometimes your partner doesn’t want to do it. This is normal. But Jacqueline Hurst, author of How To Do You: The Life-Changing Art of Mastering Your Thoughts, thinks there is something to worry about.

“Low libido over a long period of time may be cause for concern,” Hurst quoted from GQ.

If this happens, you need to evaluate your daily habits because this can affect your sexual desire. Anything?

1. Arguing with a partner

Fighting is not unusual in relationships. However, if it becomes a habit, of course one or both parties will feel there is distance and the desire to make love will disappear.

“Arguing, poor communication, not enough time with each other, betrayal, or repeated criticism will create a relationship that inhibits intimacy and lacks closeness,” explains Hurst.

2. Masturbating too often

Masturbation can actually help arouse passion. On the other hand, doing it too often can actually reduce your desire to make love with your partner.

“Some people describe solo sex (masturbation) as ‘easier’ or ‘quick release,'” says sex and relationship therapist Miranda Christophers.

Without realizing it, masturbation is used as a means of calming oneself, fulfilling personal pleasure, overcoming boredom or helping someone to sleep. Masturbation is easy and doesn’t require a partner. It’s just that sexual desire with your partner can drop drastically.

3. Lack of omega 3 intake

Are omega 3 fatty acids only for the brain? The answer is no. It turns out that when omega 3 intake is low, it can affect sex drive.

When considering foods to increase sex drive, fatty fish, flaxseed, and walnuts are worth including. The omega 3 content will help the formation of testosterone, estrogen and progesterone which will increase dopamine and encourage arousal.

4. Bad posture

From now on, it’s best to sit with correct posture. A study from New Zealand found that people who sit upright have better self-confidence, passion and mood.

5. Too much red wine

A glass red wine Actually, there’s no problem having a romantic dinner before making love. Launch Good Housekeepingred wine will help you relax and create the mood for love.

It’s just that too much wine can actually damage the hormones that regulate the reproductive system, which results in a decrease in desire.

6. Snacking high in sugar

Sugar turns out to have a bad impact on your bed. Studies show that high insulin levels due to excessive sugar intake will damage other hormones, including estrogen and testosterone. It’s no wonder you don’t feel like making love after eating donuts and drinking milkshakes.

7. Ignore the pain when making love

Have you ever experienced painful sex? Some couples choose to ignore it or consider it normal.

“In this case, the first thing I try to do is eliminate the pain. In general, once the pain is gone, the arousal problem is resolved,” says the founder of Gynecologic Specialists of Northwestern.

8. Lack of picnics

Therapist Brandy Engler highlights people who are busy with work or other things so they don’t have time to relax. The mind continues to be stimulated to think without knowing the time. When is the picnic?

“Activities include yoga, gardening, and exercise that do not rely on mental stimulation and connect with the senses, relax us, or make our bodies more open to sexuality,” says Engler.

9. Loves coffee to the point of addiction

If you like coffee, it doesn’t matter. However, if you have reached the stage of addiction to the point where you need several cups of coffee a day, then there is something that needs to be evaluated.

Too much caffeine will make the adrenal glands work hard and release stress hormones so that sex drive drops.

Not Always Due to Menopause

In addition, women who experience HSDD are not always associated with menopause. Quoted from Healthline, the percentage of women who experience this condition are:

HSDD Trigger Factors

  • Social factors such as very busy working women, especially middle-aged women.

In addition, this can also be caused by medical problems such as hormonal changes in women before and when they have menopause. A decrease in the hormone estrogen causes a lack of lubrication in the vagina and causes pain when having sex (dyspareunia).

4 Facts Japan Raised the Legal Age for Having Sex to Eradicate Sex Predators

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com February 23, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Jakarta –

The Japanese Ministry of Justice has proposed that the legal age for sex be increased from 13 to 16 years. This is part of a wider overhaul of Japan’s laws on sex crimes.

Ministry of Justice official Yusuke Asanuma said this was “not meant to make it easier or harder” for victims to win rape cases but should make decisions more consistent.

It is planned that the government will pass the law in early summer. Despite potential changes to the age of consent, exceptions will still exist for sexual relations between people who are at least 13 years old and who have an age difference of less than five years.

Facts about increasing the legal age for intimate relationships in Japan

1. Changes to Old Rules

Old rules said having sex under the age of 13 was illegal regardless of consent. Meanwhile, sexual relations with persons aged 13 to 15 years will be punished if the perpetrator is five years or older.

The current Criminal Code stipulates that acts of ‘torture or threats’ must be used to constitute forced sexual intercourse and indecent assault. This is interpreted as an act that makes it very difficult for the victim to fight back. In this condition, there is a risk of the perpetrator being declared innocent because of the difficulty in identifying resistance by the victim.

Later, these rules for sexual offenders will be added. Sexual offenders will be punished if they ‘make it difficult for the victim to form, express or fulfill an intention not to consent’, or take advantage of such a situation.

The Ministry of Justice also suggested extending the time limit for reporting rape from 10 to 15 years to give survivors more time.

2. Aftermath of the 2019 Case Protest

Quoted from The Guardian, this rule change was the result of widespread protests over the low penalties for sex predators in 2019. A man in Nagoya was acquitted after being accused of having sex with his teenage daughter, even though the court agreed that it was against his will.

After filing an appeal, the man was sent to jail. The court sentenced him to 10 years in prison.

In another case, a man was found not guilty of raping a woman who fainted from drinking because she ‘misunderstood’ that she agreed to have sex.

A series of benefits of making love in the morning, one of which keeps you young

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com February 22, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Jakarta –

Some people are used to starting the morning with breakfast or a cup of hot coffee. Some others, believe that starting the day with ‘morning sex’ can make a good mood all day. The reason is not only to raise the mood, morning sex also helps increase energy and relieve stress.

Quoted from Healthline, there are several benefits of sex in the morning. Here are the benefits.

1. The body is more primed and ready to move

The morning is the perfect time to make love because the body is ready after a night’s rest. Estrogen and testosterone levels are at their peak during the morning. A 2013 study found that libido is affected by hormone levels. The higher the hormone levels, the higher the arousal.

2. Men are more ‘durable’

The more testosterone, the better the sex. High testosterone levels increase partner arousal according to a study in 2007. In addition, testosterone also increases erectile strength.

3. Releases the ‘cuddle hormone’ or oxytocin

Morning sex is also believed to be effective in making couples stickier. This is because sex produces oxytocin, a chemical in the brain that controls love and bonding. When this hormone is released, you will feel more connected to your partner.

4. Stress dealer

A 2010 study found pleasurable activities reduced stress hormone levels. That is, reaching climax during sex before going to work can put you in a better mood.

5. Produce endorphins

Morning sex produces endorphins, which are painkilling hormones and elevate mood. That’s why you usually feel happier after you climax.
