Ukrainianโ Authorities โAllege Singer Filipp Kirkorov Violated Entry/Exit Laws, Supported Russian Actions
Ukrainian prosecutorsโ have accused singer Filipp Kirkorov of violating Ukrainian law and supporting Russian actions โฃrelated to the annexation of Crimea and the ongoing conflict in the Donetsk region. The allegations, reported by the Prosecutor Generalโ of Ukraine’s website, stem from concerts performed in โoccupied Crimea and visits to areas within the Donetsk region.
According to the accusation, dated โOctober 20, 2025, Kirkorov actively participated in a rally-concert at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on March 18, 2021, where he publicly voiced support for Russia’s annexation of Crimea.โฃ
Ukrainian special โservices also allege Kirkorovโ visited the occupied cities of Gorlovka and Makiivka โคin โคthe Donetskโค region, providing โขwhat was described as “humanitarian aid.” Reports indicate he visited a hospital treating Russian soldiers and โคoffered support to occupation authorities.
The prosecutor General’s office asserts that Kirkorov โ”systematically participates in events organizedโฃ by โขthe Russian โขauthorities,โฃ including inโ temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory,” with the intent of supporting those authorities, legitimizing the occupation of โขCrimea and other Ukrainian territories, โขand disseminating Russian propaganda, leveraging his public profile to do so.
Kirkorov now faces โคpotential imprisonment of three to five years under Article 332-1, Part 2 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which concerns violations of the legal procedures for entering and exiting temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.
