Royal Snub: Kate and⁤ William Remain Silent on Prince Harry‘s Birthday, Signaling Continued Rift

LONDON – Prince Harry turned 39 on Monday, ⁤but received no public birthday greetings from his brother, Prince William, or sister-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales, a pointed omission noted⁤ by royal observers. The silence follows a period of strained relations between the ⁣brothers and thier​ families.

Last year,when Prince‍ Harry turned 40,King Charles and⁣ William and Kate sent public birthday⁤ wishes via social media. The royal family posted, ⁤ “We wish the⁣ Duke of Sussex a really happy 40th birthday ⁢today,” on William and Kate’s joint ​account.

However, this year’s lack ⁣of acknowledgement is being interpreted as a significant​ indicator ⁢of ongoing tensions. Court expert Duncan Larcombe stated ⁣that Kate’s silence “says everything,” adding,⁤ “Thay wrote nothing on his ​birthday, which⁢ the royal family normally does. So⁤ Kate’s message was⁣ clear: it’s not us​ who have the ball now,Harry ‌- it’s‍ you.”

larcombe believes Harry must now⁣ take ⁣the ​initiative‌ to⁣ repair the relationship. He also noted William remains “still upset” by what he perceives as “personal attacks against Kate” ‍from Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

“We should not ⁣forget that Harry and Meghan called Kate a liar, which⁢ is quite tough⁢ to ‍forgive,” Larcombe said. “So they ⁤clearly​ made the decision that they did not want⁤ to meet Harry when he was back in the UK ⁣-⁣ actually they did almost⁢ everything to avoid him. They are not ready for any⁢ reconciliation.”

Prince Harry recently met with ‌his father, King Charles, ‌for the first time in 19 months. ⁤Despite this meeting, there are⁤ no ‍indications of​ a thawing in relations with William⁤ or ​Kate. Larcombe described ‌the lack ​of birthday greetings as⁤ a “subtle message,” stating, ‌”They are not prepared to send happy birthday greetings to⁣ Harry so they remain silent and avoid him at all⁢ costs.”

It has been three years since⁣ Kate and William last met ​with Harry and Meghan. Larcombe ⁢concluded, “It’s ⁢a long time. They are still clearly angry at Harry, so no reconciliation is ​relevant. ⁤It seems that ⁢the relationship is as frosty ‌as before.”
