COLUMBUS,⁤ OH – ‌Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin is‌ the current⁢ favorite to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy, according to updated odds from BetMGM‍ as of December 2. The sophomore signal-caller⁤ leads the pack with +150 odds,‍ positioning him as the frontrunner heading into the offseason.

Sayin’s strong performance throughout the 2024 season has propelled him to the ‌top of Heisman projections. The rising star completed 78.8% of his passes⁤ for 3,065 yards and 30 touchdowns with only five interceptions in⁤ 12 games. He recently showcased his abilities⁢ against Michigan, completing 19 of 26 passes ⁤for 233 yards and three touchdowns ⁣despite one‌ interception. ⁤

Tennessee Basketball faces Guard Depth, Turnover Issues After Syracuse Loss

Syracuse, NY – ‌ Tennessee suffered a 79-78 loss to Syracuse on Saturday, raising concerns about guard play and recurring turnover problems as the Volunteers’ schedule ‌intensifies. The loss dropped Tennessee to 7-2 on the season.

Dalton Knecht ⁤led Tennessee with a career-high 22 points. Jonas Ament contributed with four points during a second-half comeback attempt, supported by⁢ post scoring from Tobe‍ Carey.

The Volunteers where ‌without J.P. Estrella due to‌ a right ankle injury sustained against Kansas.

Turnovers plagued Tennessee throughout the game, with 17 miscues resulting in 24 points for Syracuse. Amaree Abram ⁤provided a‍ spark with⁣ two three-pointers and played key minutes during Tennessee’s second-half rally, becoming the only backup guard demonstrating⁤ consistent performance. The‌ primary guard mix is currently Gillespie, Boswell, and Abram alongside Ament.

LOS ANGELES – UCLA will conclude a‍ challenging week of basketball by hosting No. 14 Tennessee⁣ on Sunday at Pauley Pavilion.The Bruins (6-1) rebounded from their first loss of the season -⁣ an 88-79 defeat against Texas – with an impressive 93-63 victory over Duke⁣ on Wednesday, despite ⁤playing without starting center Lauren Betts.
