Warning: Investors Targeted by Fakeโฃ “Hua Seng Heng” Investment Scheme
The Ministry of Digital Economy โขand Society (DE)โ is alerting the public โto a surge in onlineโค scams,โฃ with aโข fraudulent investment โscheme falsely linked to Hua Seng Heng currently topping the โlist of concerning fake news. The Thailand anti-Fake News Center (AFNC) has identified a scheme advertised through the facebook page “Gold M0dern ShareHolders” promising unusually high daily dividends – betweenโ 532 and 5,300 baht – โขfrom โSET50 shares.
According to monitoring data from Octoberโ 24th to 30th,2025,the AFNC received over 1 million messages,with 809โค requiring verification. Social listening accounted forโ the vast majority โof reported cluesโ (792 โmessages), followed by reports via Line Official andโ Facebook.
The DE, acting onโ the โpolicy of Minister Chaichanok chidchob to โคcombat online โคthreats,โ coordinated with The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) toโ investigate the claims.The SET has โคconfirmedโฃ that the facts is โentirely false. โคThe “Gold โM0dern ShareHolders” pageโ isโ not affiliated with, nor โฃauthorized by, the SETโ and is falsely using the โขassociation’s name.
Authorities are warning the public to be extremely cautious โof online investment opportunities,particularly โthose promoted throughโฃ social media. This scam exemplifies tactics โcommonly used by criminals to โคdefraud investors.โ
The SET urges anyoneโข with questions orโ concerns to contact their Contact Center at 0 โ2009 9999.
