Santiago, Chile – November 21, 2023 – A major expansion of Santiago’sโ metro system, poised to connectโ eight communes and serve an estimated two million inhabitants, is underway with phasedโค openings scheduled โขthrough 2033.โฃ The ambitious project will add 27 kilometers of new rail โlines, substantially improving transportation access acrossโข the metropolitan โคarea.
The expansion is divided into three stages.
