Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians defeated the Detroit Tigers 2-0 in the American League Wild Card Series opener on saturday, October 7, 2023, at Progressive Field. José Ramírez drove in both runs for Cleveland, while Shane Bieber pitched six scoreless innings, leading the Guardians to a crucial first-game victory.
