Widow of Musician Mohamed Al-Sharnoubi Disputesโฃ Family Claims of Restricted Grandson Access
Cairo, Egypt – Sally Shibl,โ widow of the lateโค Egyptian singer mohamed Al-Sharnoubi, has โpublicly responded to statements made by โher โfather-in-law,โฃ musician Salah Al-Sharnoubi, regarding alleged restrictions on seeing hisโฃ grandson, Omar. Shibl’s response, posted on herโ official Facebook โคaccount, details a series of disputes with family members โฃfollowing Al-Sharnoubi’s death on Juneโข 15th.
Shibl stated she received al-Sharnoubi’s message during a television appearance, but was delayed in responding due toโ ongoing mourning. She expressed a preference for private communication, stating, โข”I do not follow the media out of respect for hisโ dear memory. Communicate with me by phone or WhatsApp, asโ it is more appropriate for family matters.”
Theโ core of Shibl’s rebuttal centers on accusations of being denied access to the apartment she shared with her late husband and son, โOmar, as well โas being blocked from receiving financialโข resources belonging to them. She claims, “We and Omar were preventedโ from entering our apartmentโฆwhere the locks of the apartment were changed, โandโฃ we were prevented from โobtaining any dues that belong to us or Omar, your only grandson.”
Shibl also alleges she and her son have been repeatedly denied visits from Mohamed Al-Sharnoubi’s โฃmother. furthermore, she revealed she received an abusive message from Mohamed Al-Sharnoubi’s brother, a message she still possesses but has chosenโ not to publicly release, โciting the private nature of family matters.
Concluding her statement,Shibl urged โSalah Al-Sharnoubi to verify the accuracy of his publicโข claims, stating,”All โI hope is to investigate theโฃ accuracy of what it announces or โdeclares,as I will not be silentโข as it happenedโ previously and for many years.”
