Two people were hospitalized Saturday following a house fire โฃon San Antonio’s North โฃSide, according to theโ San Antonio Fire โDepartment. Firefighters responded to the blaze โin the 8300 block of Blanco โOak Drive โshortly afterโ 11:00 a.m.
The โคcause of the fire is currently under inquiry. Theโค two โขindividuals were transported to a local hospital for treatmentโฃ of their injuries; their conditions are โcurrently unknown.This incident โunderscores the ongoing risk of residentialโ fires and the critical โคimportance of working smoke detectors. KSAT 12 News reported that firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames uponโฃ arrival. Crews worked โฃquickly to extinguish the fire and rescue โคthe occupants.
